Eddie is an Australian haematologist passionate about lymphoid malignancies (lymphoma and myeloma), novel immunotherapies (CAR T-cell therapy & bispecific antibodies), evidence-based medicine,
clinical trial design, regulatory policy and global health.
Eddie is a haematologist who trained at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne. He was previously awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics and Law (PORTAL), at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, working with Professor Aaron Kesselheim, where he remains a research affiliate and close collaborator. He is an invited member of the Lancet Haematology Commission on Adverse Event Reporting.
